These feature-rich wireless devices are optimized for long battery life and reliable communications in challenging environments, even when obstructed by metal, concrete, water, and equipment. ARG-US RFID and EV product families provide asset and sensor tags, as well as the readers for the tags’ fixed and mobile bases.
ARG-US RFID System
ARG-US RFID solution incorporates long-battery life active tags equipped with a variety of sensors, fixed and mobile readers, and a suite of software tools for location and condition monitoring. ARG-US RFID System is licensed from Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) and based on Evigia’s EV3 wireless sensor platform.
The ARG-US tags can be directly affixed to drum-type packages to provide real-time, continuous monitoring of tampering and seal breakage, physical shock, temperature/humidity, radiation level, battery status, and identification, alarm during transport, in-transit stops and storage. The ARG-US tags have a battery life of up to 10 years.
ARG-US software incorporates the ARG-US TransPort and ARG-US OnSite specialized software applications. These provide a powerful, customizable platform for full lifecycle materials management during transport and storage. The system also meets the challenge of effective management of hazardous materials to enhance safety and security.
EV4 High-performance Asset Tags and Readers
Battery-powered EV4 devices are ruggedized for long-term use in wireless networks. They store and convey information on the location, security status, and conditions of assets in their operational environments and supply chains.
EV4 products employ a proprietary communications protocol that optimizes energy efficiency and reliability in short-range wireless sensing. EV4 products work in beacon and command-response modes. The platform provides memory and power-efficient multi-sensing data logging and real-time alerts based on user-defined criteria.
EV4 devices can operate up to 10 years with a single A cell battery over a range of 500+ feet in industrial and supply chain environments with large metal and concrete obstructions. Hundreds of EV4 devices can communicate together with a single reader.
EV3 ISO 18000-7 Interoperable Asset Tags and Readers
EV3 products have been tested and proven in U.S. defense applications. Now offered to non-military users, these devices reliably and cost-effectively support worldwide interoperability compliant with the ISO 18000-7 wireless communications standard.
EV3 devices provide a rich set of sensing and asset tracking features and capabilities, all with extended battery life, and all competitively priced. They are EMI compliant for use on any aircraft and HERO tested and certified to be safe without any restrictions.
