A History of Technological Innovation
Evigia Systems, Inc. was founded as an innovative wireless sensor electronics company, pioneering high performance wireless multi-sensor designs with the most compact form-factor and longest active life in the industry.
Evigia’s technology has been proven in military, security, manufacturing, environmental, and general commercial applications. In 2009 we were one of three companies selected to provide tested and approved wireless sensor and tracking products for the U.S., NATO and Allies Global Logistics Network. Two years later we received the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Award in North America Wireless Sensing.
Today we work with customers to deliver complete IoT systems, combining ultra-low power sensors, integrated wireless systems, robust networking, and data analytics.
Our real-world experience in system integration, power management, multi-mode wireless networking, and advanced data analytics has enabled customer IoT applications in a wide variety of industries, from a local specialty bakery to large, multi-national aerospace firms.
Our passion for electronics comes straight from the top.
Evigia’s founder and CEO, Navid Yazdi, earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1999. Prior to founding Evigia, Navid was an engineering faculty member, then part of a team that founded a succesful opto-electronic startup. At Evigia, Navid has generated numerous patents and publications, as well as leading Evigia’s R&D and Program Management.
The University of Michigan’s Electrical & Computer Engineering department recently featured Navid in their online magazine. Read the article to learn how Navid’s interests, education, and previous experience clearly pointed to the innovations in technology that he and the Evigia team continue to pursue with a passion for engineering excellence.
